The strategies are maintenance (eighteen onomatopoeias), loan translation (nineteen onomatopoeias), and adaptation (ninety-one onomatopoeias) which is the frequently-applied strategy by the translator. It is revealed that 128 onomatopoeias found in the Webtoon comic and only three strategies applied by the translator. The validity expert is conducted in this study by one of the lecturers in English Language and Education Department whose expertise is in translation and linguistics.
